2026-07-17

The third episode of the “Window Building Ideal Home” segment on the China International Building & Decoration Fair features a conversation with Che Xiaona, CEO of Warren Doors and Windows. , In the face of new trends—namely, the domestic market’s shift from an era of incremental growth to one of stock-based competition, and the accelerated global expansion of Chinese manufacturing—how is Warren leveraging a dual north–south factory layout and a globalization strategy to forge a development path uniquely suited to Chinese door and window brands?

For a long time, the Chinese doors and windows industry has circulated a saying: northern brands find it hard to break into the southern market, while southern brands struggle to expand into the northern market.
The underlying reasons are straightforward. China’s pronounced north–south climate divide and differing consumer preferences, coupled with the challenges of long transportation distances—such as extended delivery cycles, reduced service efficiency, and difficulties in quality control—have consistently hindered the nationwide expansion of door and window manufacturers.
In response, Warren proposed a “dual-base” strategy spanning both the North and the South.
Currently, Warren has established a collaborative operational model between its Shandong and Foshan factories. The Shandong factory primarily serves markets north of the Yangtze River, while the Foshan factory focuses on areas south of the river. By producing and shipping locally, Warren has achieved a localized production capacity layout, boosting overall operational efficiency by more than 30% compared to a single-factory model and significantly shortening the end‑customer delivery cycle.

However, for the doors and windows industry, efficiency is not the only concern. Consumers are more worried about whether dual‑factory production might lead to variations in product quality.
In response, Che Xiaona stated that Warren adheres to the “Four Unifications” principle—unified production standards, unified production equipment, unified R&D team, and unified quality inspection system.
From aluminum materials and hardware components to glass, and across every stage of the production process and final‑product inspection, the entire industry chain adheres to unified standards, ensuring that plants in the north and south operate on the same line, meet the same specifications, and deliver products of identical quality—thereby eliminating, at the source, any quality disparities arising from geographically dispersed manufacturing.
Notably, Foshan’s new factory has already completed its smart‑factory upgrade, and the Shandong plant will follow suit by rolling out a similar intelligent manufacturing transformation. According to Che Xiaona, compared with human expertise, machine‑driven standardized production is more stable and precise, and it is poised to become a key direction for the future of door and window manufacturing.

As an increasing number of Chinese home‑furnishing companies expand overseas, the global competition in the doors and windows industry has entered a new phase.
Che Xiaona revealed that Warren Doors and Windows has currently obtained authoritative certifications in major global markets such as North America, Australia, and the European Union, with its products exported to more than 30 countries and regions, and maintaining steady growth in the North American market.
In her view, the core competitive advantage of Chinese doors and windows lies not merely in manufacturing capability, but in their mature, systematic solution‑building expertise. “Safety, energy efficiency, durability, and comfort—along with key performance attributes such as airtightness, watertightness, wind‑pressure resistance, thermal insulation, and soundproofing—Chinese doors and windows now boast robust, end‑to‑end solution capabilities.” This strength has emerged from the inherent complexity of the Chinese market. The sheer volume of personalized, customized demands has, in turn, honed Chinese door and window manufacturers’ comprehensive abilities in rapid R&D, flexible production, and tailored services. As a result, these companies have gradually gained the capacity to meet the diverse, individualized needs of households across different countries worldwide. For Warren, the brand’s premium pricing power stems from global supply-chain integration and the development of a full‑process service system. “We don’t compete solely on products; we create greater value for our customers through holistic solutions.”

While many companies are still debating whether to build factories overseas, Warren has chosen a different path. According to Che Xiaona, the dual‑factory layout in the north and south has effectively laid a solid foundation for Warren’s international expansion. On the one hand, the two production bases can simultaneously handle global orders, enabling flexible capacity allocation and efficient collaboration; on the other hand, leveraging the strategic locations of Shandong and Foshan, overall delivery efficiency has improved by 40%–60%, while comprehensive logistics and warehousing costs have been reduced by more than 25%.
Faced with differences in certification standards across countries and markets, Warren has simultaneously equipped professional production lines that meet international certification requirements and established a modular product adaptation system.

Whether it’s the EU CE certification, the U.S. NFRC standard, or the relevant requirements of the Australian market, all can be swiftly adapted through core modules such as glass configurations, hardware systems, and sealing structures, achieving “one country, one standard; one line, multiple adaptations.” This has also become an important foundation for Warren’s participation in international competition.

Compared with product manufacturing, the greater challenges for doors and windows entering international markets lie in the implementation phase. Complex certification processes, fragile logistics and transportation, inconsistent installation standards, delayed after-sales response, and high market compliance risks are all common issues facing the industry. In response, Warren has established a full‑process service system that covers certification, logistics, installation, after-sales, and compliance.
In terms of certification, we have proactively obtained authoritative approvals from major global markets. For logistics, we employ customized protective packaging and collaborate with strategic global logistics partners to minimize shipping damage. On the installation front, standardized construction manuals, video training, and remote guidance help ensure consistent installation standards. After-sales service is supported by a dual‑channel system—both domestic and international—providing remote technical assistance as well as on‑site support in key regions. To ensure compliance, a dedicated team continuously monitors changes in overseas market regulations, mitigating risks associated with market entry. “We aim to fundamentally transform the traditional product‑selling model, upgrading our doors and windows business into end‑to‑end turnkey projects, so that our overseas partners and end customers can operate with complete peace of mind.”

Today, Warren has established a global development model that integrates “standards, products, services, and branding” into a unified whole. Its core market is centered on North America, while it is also expanding into high-growth regions such as Australia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Che Xiaona has observed that an increasing number of overseas customers are shifting from solely relying on traditional international brands to opting for Chinese high-end system windows and doors, which offer higher delivery efficiency, greater adaptability, and superior cost-effectiveness. Underpinning Warren’s global expansion are four core capabilities: the foreign trade team’s rapid customer acquisition ability; the efficient delivery capacity of its dual north–south factories; integrated global supply-chain management; and professional service expertise that covers the entire process. “In the past, we learned technology and experience from Europe; today, Chinese windows and doors have the strength to deliver value on a global scale.”

From July 8 to 11, 2026, during the Guangzhou Building Materials Fair, Warren Doors and Windows will showcase its newly developed product line at the Doors and Windows Outdoor Area in Zone D of the Canton Fair Complex.
According to reports, the new product series will undergo a comprehensive upgrade in terms of exterior design, display optimization, and performance enhancement. Meanwhile, Warren will also systematically showcase its intelligent manufacturing capabilities at its dual North-South bases, its global certification system, and its end-to-end service capabilities.

Warren Doors and Windows CEO Che Xiaona pointed out, “ The Guangzhou International Building & Decoration Fair is our most important “battlefield” each year—not because it’s the largest, but because it attracts the most targeted distributors and partners. Every July, nearly all of China’s top door and window distributors, procurement managers from installation companies, and designers converge in Pazhou. For us at Warren, holding new-product launches and signing investment agreements here yields far higher conversion rates than at other trade shows. Moreover, the Guangzhou Construction Expo isn’t just about those few days—it hosts more than 70 channel‑related events throughout the year, ranging from dealer training to designer salons, helping us maintain ongoing connections with end‑user resources. You want to quickly tap into the national market, Guangzhou The China International Building & Decoration Fair is the most efficient “investment‑attraction accelerator.” ”
“Another thing I particularly value is its…” Full-industry-chain integration capability From profiles and hardware to smart systems, and from residential to commercial interiors, a single visit here gives you a comprehensive overview of the latest technologies and emerging trends across the entire supply chain. Moreover, Over the past two years, the Guangzhou International Building Materials Fair has aligned closely with the “Good Housing” policy, launching numerous focused campaigns on the energy efficiency, safety, and sound insulation of doors and windows, thereby helping us significantly reduce our market‑education expenses. Ultimately, competition in the doors and windows industry is becoming increasingly fierce, and choosing the right platform is crucial— The Guangzhou International Building & Decoration Fair is one of the few events in China where brands, distributors, designers, and project owners can engage in comprehensive, face-to-face discussions—all in a single venue. That’s precisely why we make it a point to exhibit there every year, come rain or shine. ”
From a dual-factory layout to global market expansion, and from product exports to solution exports, Warren is charting a growth path unique to Chinese door and window brands.
