1. Fine Sand: When painting walls, some lime water often sticks to the glass windows. Removing these stubborn lime stains can be quite challenging with just plain water. 2. Kerosene + Chalk Powder: Drop a bit of kerosene onto the glass, or mix chalk powder with plaster powder, dip it in water, apply it to the glass, let it dry, and then wipe clean with a soft cloth or cotton—leaving the glass sparkling clean and brilliantly clear.
3. Toothpaste: Glass furniture can turn dark over time, but you can restore its clarity by gently wiping it with a soft cloth coated in toothpaste.
4. Egg White Solution: After washing fresh eggshells with water, you’ll obtain a mixture of egg white and water. Using this solution to clean glass will also enhance its shine.
5. Kerosene or White Alcohol: If there are stubborn marks or oil stains on the window glass, lightly wipe it with a damp cloth sprayed with a small amount of kerosene or white alcohol—your glass will quickly become clean and sparkling again.
6. Vinegar: If there’s paint or grime on the glass, apply some vinegar to it, let it sit until the material softens, then wipe it off with a clean cloth.
7. Old newspapers: Wipe with slightly damp old newspapers. When cleaning, it’s best to scrub vertically—up and down on one side—and horizontally—left to right on the other—making it easier to spot any areas that may have been missed.
8. Alcohol: First, rinse with warm water, then gently wipe the glass with a damp cloth lightly dipped in alcohol—this will leave the glass sparklingly clear.
