Typically, PVC or plastic steel windows and doors are fitted with 6A, 9A, or 12A air gap insulated glass, while thermal-break aluminum windows and doors usually use 18A, 22A, or 27A insulated glass—though the exact choice ultimately depends on the specific model of doors and windows you select.
